The service
Supercited is a legal data and technology platform. It publishes structured profiles of law firms, lawyers, offices, practice areas, jurisdictions, cases, case studies, and Verified Matters, with schema.org markup and an index meant for people and for AI systems.
The service sits alongside a firm’s own website and marketing. It describes firms and legal work in a form that can be discovered, read, and cited. It does not replace a firm’s site, and it does not operate as a marketplace that assigns clients to lawyers.
Not a law firm
Supercited is a legal data and technology platform. It is not a law firm and it is not a lawyer referral service. Nothing on this site is legal advice, and using the site does not create an attorney-client relationship with Memetic Consulting Ltd., with Supercited, or with any lawyer or firm named on a profile.
Profiles, outcomes, and Verified Matters are published so readers can see how a firm describes its work. They are not a recommendation to hire a particular lawyer. If you need legal help, contact a lawyer licensed where your matter will be handled.
Attorney advertising and results
Material on this site about lawyers, firms, cases, settlements, verdicts, and other outcomes may be attorney advertising by the lawyers and firms it describes. A result in one matter depends on its own facts, law, and procedure. Past results do not guarantee a similar outcome in any other matter.
Profiles and Verified Matters
Public pages may include a firm’s name, description, offices, lawyers, credentials, practice areas, and selected legal work. A Verified Matter is a structured record of legal work that a participating firm has chosen to document and confirm, together with the sources attached to that record.
Firm confirmation means the firm asked us to publish that record. It is not a finding by a court, a regulator, or a bar authority, and it is not an independent audit by Memetic Consulting Ltd. of every fact in the record. We may edit, decline, update, or remove a profile or Verified Matter.
Publishing a profile does not promise that any search engine, directory, or AI system will mention, rank, or recommend a firm. Those systems decide for themselves how to use public information.
Information you send us
If you email us, or if your firm sends biographies, matter descriptions, outcomes, or sources for publication, you represent that:
- the information is accurate to the best of your knowledge;
- you have the authority to share it with us and, where you ask us to publish it, to make it public;
- publication does not violate a court order, a confidentiality duty, a protective order, or someone else’s rights; and
- you will not send us confidential client information unless you are authorized to do so.
You grant Memetic Consulting Ltd. a non-exclusive license to use, format, store, and display the material you ask us to publish, including in structured data on this site, for as long as the page remains online. You keep ownership of your firm’s names, logos, and underlying materials. You may ask us to correct or remove published material by writing to editorial@supercited.com.
Acceptable use
You may read, link to, and quote short passages from public pages with attribution. You agree that you will not:
- use the site to offer or seek legal representation in a way that implies we are your lawyer;
- submit false firm, lawyer, or matter information;
- copy the site’s pages, compilation, or markup and present them as your own service;
- interfere with the site, probe the admin tools, or attempt to access accounts or systems you are not authorized to use;
- scrape the site in a way that degrades it for other readers; or
- use names, email addresses, or phone numbers from the site to send spam.
Public pages are meant to be read by people and by automated systems that respect this site’s ordinary access rules. The admin area at /keystatic is for authorized operators only.
Intellectual property
The Supercited name, site design, selection and arrangement of pages, and our structured-data presentation are owned by Memetic Consulting Ltd. or its licensors. Firm names, logos, and biographical content remain the property of the firms, lawyers, or other rights holders. Third-party marks used to describe a firm or a source stay with their owners.
Separate agreements with firms
A law firm may engage Memetic Consulting Ltd. under a proposal, order, or other written agreement. If that agreement conflicts with these terms on fees, service scope, term, or confidentiality, the written agreement controls for that engagement. These terms still govern use of the public website.
Disclaimers
The site is provided as available. Profiles can be incomplete or out of date. We do not warrant that the site will be uninterrupted, that every published fact is complete, or that a third-party AI system will describe a firm in any particular way. To the extent the law allows, we disclaim implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
Limitation of liability
To the extent the law allows, Memetic Consulting Ltd. and its directors, employees, and contractors are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or lost-profit damages, or for decisions made from profiles, AI answers, or a lawyer’s work. Our total liability for a claim arising out of the site or these terms is limited to the amount you paid us for the service giving rise to the claim during the 12 months before the claim, or 100 Canadian dollars if you paid nothing.
These limits do not apply to liability that cannot be limited under the laws of British Columbia, including liability for fraud or for personal injury caused by negligence.
Indemnity
If you submit material for publication, you will defend and indemnify Memetic Consulting Ltd.against claims, losses, and reasonable legal expenses arising from that material being false, confidential without authority, or in violation of someone else’s rights, except to the extent the claim is caused by our own unauthorized alteration of what you submitted.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of British Columbia and the federal laws of Canada that apply there. Courts located in Victoria, British Columbia have exclusive jurisdiction over disputes arising from these terms or the site, except where applicable law requires a different forum. You keep any rights that cannot be waived.
Changes
We may update these terms by posting a new version on this page and changing the date above. The new terms apply from the date they are posted. If you have a separate written agreement with us, that agreement continues to control where it conflicts with the public terms.
