This policy explains how Memetic Consulting Ltd. (“we,” “us”) handles information when you use the Supercited website at supercited.com. Supercited publishes structured public profiles of law firms, lawyers, offices, practice areas, cases, case studies, and Verified Matters. It is a legal data and technology platform, not a law firm and not a lawyer referral service.

Information you give us
We collect information you choose to send, including:
- Email. Messages to info@supercited.com or editorial@supercited.com, and the name, firm, and details you include. The public site has no account signup and no contact form.
- Profile material. Information a firm or lawyer sends so we can publish or update a page: names, titles, biographies, bar admissions, office addresses, phone numbers, email addresses, practice areas, descriptions of legal work, outcomes, and sources.
- Corrections. Requests about an error, omission, or published Verified Matter.
Do not email confidential client information unless you are authorized to share it with us. Material you ask us to publish is intended for the public pages described below.
Information collected automatically
The public site is built to be read without an account. Automatic collection is limited:
- Hosting logs. The site is hosted on Cloudflare. Delivering a page can produce logs that include your IP address, browser type, the page requested, the time of the request, and a referring address. We use those logs to operate, secure, and troubleshoot the site.
- Theme preference. A light or dark theme choice is stored in your browser’s local storage under the key “theme.” It stays on your device. We do not receive it.
- Fonts. Pages load typefaces from Google Fonts. Your browser contacts Google to fetch those files, and Google may receive your IP address and browser details. Google’s own privacy policy describes that processing.
Public pages do not set advertising cookies and do not include a third-party analytics product. If you sign in to the operator admin at /keystatic, that tool sets authentication cookies needed to keep the session. Those cookies are not used on ordinary visits to public profiles.
How we use information
We use information to:
- reply to questions, onboarding requests, and correction requests;
- prepare, publish, update, and remove firm, lawyer, office, case, and Verified Matter pages;
- keep a record of what a firm asked us to publish and of later corrections;
- operate, secure, and debug the site; and
- meet legal, accounting, and professional obligations.
We do not sell personal information. We do not use public-site visits to build advertising profiles.
What is public
Profile pages are published so people, search engines, and AI systems can read them. A published page can include professional contact details, biography, credentials, and descriptions of legal work the firm has chosen to document. Once published, that information can be copied, indexed, or quoted by third parties outside our control.
A Verified Matter is a record the participating firm has chosen to document and confirm, together with its sources. Publication is a public description of that work. It is not a court finding and it is not legal advice.
Who we share information with
We share information only as needed for the purposes above:
- Hosting. Cloudflare processes requests so the site can be served. Its network operates in more than one country, including Canada and the United States.
- Email. Messages you send reach us through our email provider.
- Fonts. Google receives the technical data described above when your browser loads fonts.
- Professional advisers. Lawyers, accountants, or insurers, when a question requires it and they are bound to protect the information.
- Legal process. A regulator, court, or other party when the law requires us to disclose information, or when disclosure is needed to protect the rights, safety, and integrity of the site and its users.
Firm and lawyer details that we publish appear on the public site itself. We do not give visitor logs to the law firms named on the site.
How long we keep information
Email and correspondence are kept for as long as we need them to respond, to document a firm relationship, and to meet legal duties. Published profile information stays on the site until we update or remove it, including when a firm or a person asks for a correction and we agree the change should be made. Hosting logs are kept on the schedule set by our host for security and operations. The theme preference remains in your browser until you clear site data for supercited.com.
Security
We use administrative and technical safeguards appropriate to a public website and to the business records behind it, including HTTPS. No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure.
Your choices
You may:
- ask for access to personal information we hold about you, or for a correction, by emailing info@supercited.com;
- ask for a correction to a published page or Verified Matter by emailing editorial@supercited.com;
- ask us to remove a professional profile where we are able to do so; and
- clear the theme preference by clearing local storage for this site in your browser.
We will respond to an access or correction request within 30 days, or any longer period applicable law allows. We may need to confirm that you are the person the information is about, or that you are authorized to act for a firm. We may decline a request where the law allows us to, including where disclosure would reveal another person’s information or a privileged record.
This handling is intended to meet our duties under British Columbia’s Personal Information Protection Act and, where it applies, Canada’s Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act. You may also complain to the Office of the Information and Privacy Commissioner for British Columbia, or to the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada when that office has jurisdiction.
Children
The site is meant for law firms, lawyers, and adults looking for information about legal professionals. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
Visitors outside Canada
We are a company in British Columbia, Canada. If you use the site from somewhere else, your information will be handled in Canada and may also be processed on our host’s network in other countries, as described above. Those places may have privacy rules that differ from the rules where you live.
Changes
We will post changes on this page and update the date above. The new policy applies from the date it is posted.
